Buy LoRaWAN Devices, Sensors and Nodes for IoT Projects
LoRaWAN devices are used to connect sensors, meters, controllers and other low-power IoT hardware over long distances. They are a strong choice for applications where devices need to send small amounts of data reliably, with long battery life and without relying on WiFi or wired network connections. LoRaWAN nodes and sensors are commonly used in building automation, property management, environmental monitoring, smart cities, energy monitoring, asset tracking, agriculture and industrial IoT projects.
In this category, you can buy LoRaWAN devices, sensors, nodes, modules, development boards, developer kits, chips and gateways for building scalable IoT systems. The main focus is on ready-to-use LoRaWAN sensors and devices for real deployments, including solutions for temperature and humidity monitoring, leak detection, occupancy monitoring, air quality, door and window status, distance measurement, metering, equipment monitoring and outdoor environmental data collection.
Choose the Right LoRaWAN Sensor, Module or Development Kit
Ready-to-use LoRaWAN sensors are suitable for businesses, installers and system integrators that need reliable hardware for buildings, properties, facilities and outdoor monitoring sites. They can be used to monitor technical rooms, warehouses, offices, rental properties, municipal infrastructure, farms, utility areas and other locations where sensor data needs to be collected without complex cabling.
LoRaWAN developer kits, modules, chips and development boards are better suited for prototyping, hardware development, custom devices and product testing. They give developers and OEM teams more flexibility when building their own LoRaWAN nodes or integrating LoRaWAN connectivity into existing products. Kilo Electronics offers LoRaWAN hardware for professional IoT projects, from individual sensors and development boards to gateways and components for larger connected infrastructure deployments.
Choose LoRaWAN sensors by measurement task
| Task | Example hardware | Check before ordering |
|---|---|---|
| Indoor temperature and humidity | Dragino LHT52 EU868 | Indoor placement, measurement range and reporting interval |
| Temperature at a separate measurement point | Dragino D20S-LB with external probe | Probe length, mounting and permitted environment |
| Connecting existing instrumentation | Converter or development module | Signal type, power supply and sensor data format |
For each LoRaWAN sensor, check the frequency band, required registration credentials and payload-format support in your application. A working radio connection alone does not produce correctly labeled dashboard measurements. Product pages show current availability and included components.
What else do LoRaWAN sensors need?
A private network requires a suitable LoRaWAN gateway, its internet connection and a network server. An application then displays and processes the data. If you plan to use an existing network, check its access requirements. Select reporting intervals and battery-maintenance plans for the actual device and installation. EU868 devices are not automatically compatible with US915 networks.
