LoRaWAN Indoor Temperature & Humidity Sensor EU868 – Dragino LHT52

The Dragino LHT52 is built for wireless indoor monitoring of temperature and humidity. It measures both values with its built-in sensor and sends them over LoRaWAN on EU868. That makes it a practical fit for measurement points where room conditions, storage environments, or temperature thresholds need to be tracked over time without extra wiring.

Typical installation points include offices, meeting rooms, storage areas, utility rooms, retail spaces, service areas, and other building zones where temperature and humidity should be logged consistently. For operators, that matters when conditions need to be documented continuously rather than checked only from time to time, for example in stock rooms, building services, indoor environment monitoring, or general IoT rollouts across existing buildings.

The LHT52 is an indoor sensor for fixed measurement points. Wall mounting keeps installation simple, power from two AAA batteries keeps maintenance straightforward, and the datalog feature helps at sites with temporary coverage gaps. Values are recorded for every uplink and can be retrieved later. It also includes a temperature alarm function so threshold breaches can be reported more quickly.

In addition to the built-in temperature and humidity sensor, the LHT52 has a USB Type-C sensor connector for optional external sensors, such as an external temperature probe. That is useful when the actual measurement point is not exactly where the device itself is mounted. For many building and monitoring projects, though, the integrated sensing already covers the job well.
