Choosing the right antenna for maximum range
Key factors: frequency band (EU868 for LoRaWAN and Meshtastic), gain (dBi), connector (SMA, RP-SMA, N-type, U.FL/IPEX) and mounting location. Higher gain focuses the signal horizontally — ideal for flat terrain; hilly environments do better with 2–3 dBi.
