Smart Portable Socket with Energy Metering WS523-868M – Milesight WS523

The Milesight WS523-868M turns standard appliances into controllable, measurable loads—without rewiring. Over LoRaWAN, it enables remote switching and provides detailed energy data to help teams reduce waste, validate consumption, and automate operation based on real usage patterns.

Time-based schedules allow appliances to power on/off automatically, making it a practical fit for facility deployments (offices, meeting rooms, schools, hotels, plant rooms) and for integrators building energy-efficiency workflows. Safety is built in with overcurrent protection, helping prevent damage to connected devices and the socket itself, while also supporting alarms.

For reporting and analytics, the WS523 measures voltage, current, power factor, active power, and energy consumption (kWh). Additional features such as delay switching, button lock, power outage alerts, and multicast support scalable rollouts. Configuration is handled via mobile app using NFC or via downlink, and it supports Milesight D2D for direct interaction with compatible Milesight nodes (depending on your setup).
