Product Description Technical Details

The Milesight UG63 L08GL is a compact mini LoRaWAN gateway for EU868, built for deployments where space, power draw, and quick setup matter. With integrated 4G LTE (CAT 1) / GSM, it’s well suited for sites without reliable wired internet, or as a backup uplink. It also offers Ethernet (RJ45 WAN) and Wi-Fi (AP mode) for device configuration.

For network integration, the UG63 supports common forwarding options including Semtech UDP forwarder and Basic Station (TCP), and is compatible with ChirpStack v3/v4. Depending on uplink/downlink frequency planning, it supports around 2000 Class A/B/C devices (stated). For simple standalone setups, an embedded network server is included (LoRaWAN v1.0.3, Class A/Class C) supporting up to 20 devices with MQTT integration.

Operations and maintenance are straightforward with link backup, an OpenVPN client, web and MQTT-based configuration, ping diagnostics, and platform-based updates. Power options are flexible: USB-C (5V/2A), DC input (2.5–12V), or 802.3af PoE via a PoE splitter. The UG63 is designed for indoor environments (IP30) and supports desktop, wall, or ceiling mounting.
