The Teltonika TAT240 (EU variant) is a tamper-proof, battery-powered asset tracker designed to secure and monitor assets where wiring is impractical—or where a discreet tracker is the best protection. It uses 4G LTE Cat 1 connectivity with 2G fallback, plus GNSS positioning, to provide reliable location reporting across a wide range of environments.
For maximum safety, TAT240 features magnetic tamper detection. If the device is removed from its mounting position or tampered with, it can trigger alerts so you can react immediately. It’s also a strong choice as a backup tracker: the compact form factor makes it easy to hide in a vehicle, and its sleep mode helps reduce detectability and power consumption—useful for recovery workflows.
The included magnetic mounting holder enables fast installation without tools. Once mounted, you can configure movement-based periodic reports, so the device sends data at a frequency you define depending on whether the asset is moving or stationary—helping balance visibility with battery life.
TAT240 also supports Bluetooth® LE for compatible peripherals (e.g., EYE sensors), which can extend your monitoring scenarios when used with supported configurations.
