The RAK12022 is a WisBlock IO module built for accurate, dependable temperature measurement using a PT100 RTD—and this product includes the PT100 probe, so you can get started immediately.
Inside the module is the MAX31865, a trusted RTD-to-digital converter that turns the PT100’s resistance changes into clean digital data. In practice, that means you get consistent readings without having to fight analog noise or build a complex RTD measurement circuit yourself.
RAK12022 supports 2-wire, 3-wire, and 4-wire PT100 connections, so it fits a wide range of installations—from simple wiring to higher-accuracy compensated setups. For real deployments, it also adds helpful reliability features like open/short fault detection (sensor/cable diagnostics) and input protection against overvoltage up to 45 V.
