Product Description Technical Details

The Dragino T68DL is built for temperature monitoring at distributed measurement points where a compact, low-maintenance sensor needs to be installed directly on site. The temperature sensor is built in, the housing is IP68-rated, and data is transmitted over LoRaWAN on EU868. That makes it suitable for installations without local power where temperature values need to be captured over long periods.

Typical use cases include storage rooms, cold rooms, utility spaces, equipment cabinets, building zones, shafts, and protected outdoor locations. It also fits building automation, condition monitoring, and technical installations where temperature deviations need to be detected early without adding extra wiring. In practical terms, it is a straightforward fixed-point temperature sensor rather than a device for more complex process instrumentation.

The datalog function matters at remote or coverage-challenged sites. If LoRaWAN coverage is temporarily unavailable, the T68DL stores readings and makes them available later. That helps reduce gaps in temperature history, which is useful for harder-to-reach installations, larger buildings, or outdoor sites.

For integrators and operators, the T68DL is a practical choice when a simple temperature measurement point with low power consumption and long battery life is needed. The built-in battery, compact housing, and downlink-based configuration fit projects where many sensing points need to run with minimal maintenance effort.
