Split core current transformer 100A for CS01-LB Dragino SCT013G-D-100

The Dragino SCT013G-D-100 is not a standalone LoRaWAN sensor. It is the matching current transformer used with the Dragino CS01-LB. It clamps around the conductor and provides the measurement signal for current monitoring. That makes it suitable for installations where current values need to be captured in existing systems without cutting the cable or adding a permanently wired energy meter.

The split core design is especially useful for retrofit work. In practice, this type of transformer is installed in electrical cabinets, sub-distribution boards, machine connections, pumps, ventilation systems, charging points, or individual outgoing circuits where the current draw of one load or circuit needs to be monitored. That is useful for identifying whether a machine is running, tracking load changes, or spotting unusual current draw early.

With a 100A/50mA rating, this version is intended for smaller to mid-range circuits where the larger 300A or 600A options would be oversized. The 16 mm aperture sets the mechanical limit and needs to match the conductor or cable being monitored. For integrators, that is the key selection point: not just the current range, but also whether the conductor physically fits through the clamp.

The SCT013G-D-100 is ordered separately and is intended as the sensing accessory for the CS01-LB. When using the CS01-LB to monitor individual circuits or several loads, the current transformer should be selected to match the conductor size and expected load range.
