The Dragino CS01-LB is built for projects where current values need to be captured from existing lines without adding a conventional wired metering system. It works as a LoRaWAN converter for up to four current transformers and sends the readings wirelessly over EU868. That makes it suitable for distributed measurement points where the electrical load state of machines, circuits, or individual consumers needs to be monitored.
Typical installations include machines and production lines, EV charging points, sub-distribution boards, pumps, ventilation systems, inverters, technical building services, and electrical cabinets. In these setups, the goal is often not certified billing, but visibility into whether a load is running, how load profiles change, and whether current draw stays within the expected range. That is exactly where the CS01-LB is useful.
The converter supports up to four current sensor channels. This allows several phases, several loads, or several monitoring points to be observed in parallel. For integrators, that matters when a single value is not enough and a broader load picture is needed from one machine area or cabinet. Current alarms help detect unusual conditions earlier, for example when a machine is still drawing current while supposedly idle or when a load unexpectedly drops out.
The connected current transformers are detachable and can be selected to match the installation. Supported ratios are 100A/50mA, 300A/50mA, and 600A/50mA.
