The HiLook IPC-T280HA-LUF is a fixed 4K turret network camera for installations where standard Full HD is not enough. It is commonly mounted above entrances, along driveways, at side gates, in yard areas, at workshop access points, or on exterior walls where faces, vehicle movement, and scene detail need to stay usable in recorded video.
Its 2.8 mm lens covers a wide viewing area, which makes it a practical choice for open foreground zones and broader approach paths. That matters when one camera is expected to monitor a doorway and the surrounding area at the same time, or when a driveway, loading point, or small parking section needs full coverage without switching to a more complex setup.
For night operation, the camera combines infrared illumination with white light. In Smart Hybrid Light mode, white light is activated on motion so the camera can capture color images at night. That is useful in places where identifying clothing, vehicle color, or other visible details matters more than basic black-and-white event recording.
The camera supports person and vehicle detection within motion events, helping reduce unnecessary alerts from general movement in the scene. It can be used as a standalone camera or integrated into an IP surveillance system through ONVIF, ISAPI, or SDK. Local recording to microSD cards up to 512 GB is also supported.
PoE keeps cabling simple by delivering power and network connectivity over one cable. The metal housing and IP67 rating suit exposed outdoor mounting points, while the built-in microphone adds ambient audio where that is needed, for example at entry doors, access paths, service entrances, or yard-facing walls.
