The Teltonika FMC003 is a compact OBD-II GPS tracker designed for effortless installation and fast fleet rollouts. There is no complex wiring: you plug the device into the vehicle’s OBD-II socket and it starts transmitting location and telemetry data over a reliable 4G LTE Cat 1 connection (with 2G fallback). This makes FMC003 ideal for mixed fleets where quick deployment, minimal downtime, and consistent data quality matter.
Beyond location tracking, FMC003 is built to read vehicle data directly from the OBD interface. Depending on vehicle support, it can capture key OEM/OBD parameters such as fuel level, speed, current odometer, RPM, estimated range (km left till empty), and charging status. This gives fleet operators better visibility into vehicle usage, efficiency, and maintenance planning—without installing separate sensors.
A standout benefit is electric vehicle support: FMC003 expands telematics scenarios with compatibility across a large number of EV models, enabling fleets to monitor EV-specific parameters (such as charging status) alongside standard tracking.
For Bluetooth-based accessories, FMC003 supports Bluetooth® 4.0 + LE, allowing integrations with compatible BLE sensors (for example, temperature/humidity sensors) depending on your use case. It also includes an internal GNSS antenna, internal cellular antenna, a backup battery, and multiple sleep modes to optimize power usage.
Typical applications include:
Plug & play fleet tracking via OBD-II
Reading OEM/OBD parameters (fuel, odometer, RPM, range, charging status)
Mixed fleets including EVs
Driver behavior and safety scenarios (towing/crash/unplug detection, geofencing)
