The Dragino S31B-LB is a LoRaWAN temperature and humidity sensor designed for professional IoT deployments where environmental conditions must be monitored reliably over time. It measures ambient temperature and relative humidity accurately and transmits the data wirelessly over EU868 LoRaWAN to an IoT platform.

Its real value comes from stable climate monitoring in places where wired installations are difficult or where sensors need to be distributed across a site. Typical use cases include greenhouses, barns, storage rooms, outdoor installations, technical rooms, sheltered industrial areas, and general building or environmental monitoring.

Because the sensing element is mounted in a waterproof anti-condensation housing, the S31B-LB is particularly suitable for humid or changing conditions where standard indoor sensors are a poor fit. That makes it a practical choice for greenhouse climate control, barn environment monitoring, humidity supervision in storage areas, temperature and humidity monitoring in technical spaces, and environmental measurement at distributed outdoor sites.

Its alarm feature is also useful in real deployments. Temperature and humidity thresholds can be defined so teams can react quickly when conditions move outside acceptable limits. The datalog feature helps preserve readings during temporary LoRaWAN outages and forwards them once connectivity is restored.

With its built-in 8500 mAh Li/SOCl2 battery, it is designed for long-term, low-maintenance operation.
