The RAK11720 is a compact, energy-efficient LoRa® and Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE 5.0) module based on the Ambiq Apollo3 Blue (AMA3B1KK-KBR-B0) microcontroller and the Semtech SX1262 LoRa® transceiver.
This variant is designed without an MHF connector, allowing the antenna to be connected directly via the RF pad. The module is optimized for the 868 MHz frequency band (EU868 / RU864 / IN865) and is suitable for a wide range of IoT applications.

Technical Details
The RAK11720 is a stamp module with two radios on board. It combines the Ambiq Apollo3 Blue SoC with the Semtech SX1262 LoRa chip. This allows the module to handle both LoRaWAN and Bluetooth Low Energy 5.0.
The module has the same size and pinout as the RAK3172. Existing designs can be reused and BLE support can be added by swapping the module, without changing the PCB.
This version does not include an MHF connector. The antenna is connected directly via the RF pad. The module is intended for use in the EU868, RU864, and IN865 frequency bands.
With support for both LoRa and BLE, the RAK11720 is commonly used in building automation, sensor networks, smart city projects, and industrial monitoring.
The module ships with RUI3-based AT command firmware. It is compatible with RAK3172 and RAK4631-R. Custom firmware can also be developed using the RUI3 API.
