6-Axis IMU (Accelerometer + Gyro) RAKwireless RAK12033 (TDK InvenSense IIM-42652)

RAKwireless RAK12033 is a compact WisBlock motion-tracking module designed to capture acceleration and angular rate in a single sensor package. Built around the TDK InvenSense IIM-42652, it integrates a 3-axis accelerometer plus a 3-axis gyroscope, which is the typical core sensor set for IMU-based orientation, tilt detection, and stabilization.

A key practical advantage is configurability. The accelerometer supports ±2g, ±4g, ±8g, and ±16g full-scale options, while the gyroscope supports multiple ranges from ±15.625 up to ±2000 degrees/sec. This lets you tune the sensor for slow movements and fine tilt detection or for faster rotational dynamics in robotic platforms and mechanical systems.

The module is positioned for industrial use cases with an extended operating temperature range of -40 to +105 °C and high mechanical robustness, including 20,000 g shock tolerance—useful in mobile equipment, tools, and systems that may experience impact or vibration.
