The RAKwireless RAK11722 is a WisBlock Core module built around the Ambiq Apollo3 Blue (AMA3B1KK-KBR-B0) with a Semtech SX1262 LoRa transceiver. It delivers LoRaWAN + BLE in one compact processing module, making it a strong choice when you need long-range LPWAN connectivity plus a convenient local wireless link for setup, commissioning, or nearby control.
Paired with WisBlock base boards and WisBlock sensor/IO modules, it’s designed for quick development and integration. The module supports LoRaWAN 1.0.3, OTAA/ABP, and LoRa P2P, and ships with RUI3-based AT firmware; you can also build custom firmware using the RUI3 API (including Arduino workflows) to integrate WisBlock modules into your application.
It targets battery and solar-powered deployments with very low sleep consumption (2.37 µA) and high transmit power (up to 22 dBm). Typical use cases include building automation, sensor networks, and remote monitoring, with an onboard BLE chip antenna and an MHF connector for the LoRa antenna.
