The RAKARG16 8 dBi fiberglass antenna is built for deployments where you want strong link performance and consistent coverage in the 858–878 MHz band. With high gain and an omnidirectional (360°) pattern, it’s a great fit for fixed outdoor gateway installations that need wide-area coverage without directional aiming.
It is vertically polarized, uses 50 Ω impedance, and maintains VSWR ≤ 1.5. The white fiberglass radome is designed for outdoor use, and an installation kit is included to make mounting straightforward on a pole or bracket.
Planning note: this antenna is 1.3 meters long, so it’s best suited for stationary installations with adequate mounting space and solid mechanical support. The antenna uses an N-type male connector, with an adapter to RP-SMA for devices that use RP-SMA inputs.
