LoRaWAN temperature sensor with dual probe inputs EU868 Milesight TS302

The Milesight TS302 is designed for applications where temperature monitoring involves more than one sensing point. Unlike the single-channel TS301, the TS302 provides two sensor connectors. This allows either simultaneous monitoring at two locations or a combination of temperature or temperature-and-humidity monitoring with a magnetic door contact. In cold chain and controlled storage environments, that is often much more practical than a single-channel device.

Typical use cases include cold rooms, refrigerators, freezer cabinets, food processing areas, pharmacies, medicine storage, laboratories, sample storage, and other temperature-sensitive spaces. In these environments, the requirement is usually not limited to reading the current value. What matters is clear documentation, reliable alarming, and a complete history of what happened. If a door stays open or the temperature moves outside the allowed range, that needs to be detected quickly. The TS302 is built for that type of work.

One practical advantage is the integrated LCD screen. This allows local staff to check readings directly on the device without opening a platform or app first. In daily operations, that is often more useful than cloud-only sensing. At the same time, up to 10,000 records can be stored and exported as CSV or PDF. This is especially relevant in regulated environments where temperature logging is not just helpful internally, but part of quality and compliance requirements.

The TS302 is a strong fit for HACCP-oriented processes and is certified to EN12830. In food and pharmaceutical environments, this matters because temperature monitoring is not treated as a convenience feature, but as part of process control. Data retrieval and retransmission also help preserve measurement history when the network is interrupted.

For retrofit projects, it is also useful that the sensor can run on batteries or by USB Type-C power. The EU868 LoRaWAN version fits wireless deployments in cold rooms, storage areas, and technical spaces where adding new data wiring would be inconvenient or expensive.
