Technical Details
The Milesight EM500-PT100-868M is a temperature sensor made for industrial use. It is designed to measure very low temperatures, from −200 °C up to +50 °C, and is used in setups where stable and accurate readings are required. The sensor uses a PT100 probe with a 3-wire connection, which is common in industrial environments and known for reliable results.
The device is built into a solid IP67 housing and can be installed outdoors without problems. It is resistant to corrosion and suited for rough conditions. Typical usecases include temperature monitoring of liquids and gases, boilers, furnaces, and use in laboratory or technical testing environments.
Power comes from a replaceable 19,000 mAh battery, allowing the sensor to run for many years depending on the reporting interval. Configuration is done via NFC or USB-C, either using a mobile app or a PC. The EM500-PT100 can be connected to Milesight IoT Cloud to monitor current values and review historical temperature data.
