Technical Details
The Milesight WS101 is a battery-powered LoRaWAN button that lets you trigger actions reliably with a simple press. With short press, double press, and long press modes, one device can map to multiple workflows—ideal when you need clear, deliberate user inputs for alarms, service calls, or operational events.
It connects via LoRaWAN (EU868, Class A, OTAA/ABP) and works with standard LoRaWAN gateways and network servers. For local control without a gateway, it also supports Milesight D2D (device-to-device) over LoRa, allowing compatible Milesight nodes to react directly with lower latency and less infrastructure.
WS101 is designed for fast deployment: NFC configuration via a mobile app, a status/alarm LED, and an integrated buzzer for audible feedback. Battery operation enables flexible placement and easy retrofits across buildings and distributed sites.
