Product Description Technical Details

The Dragino LHT65N is built for temperature and humidity monitoring in locations where wired sensing is impractical or too costly to install. Using LoRaWAN, it sends environmental data over long distances with low power consumption, making it a strong fit for distributed IoT monitoring points across buildings, facilities, and industrial sites.

What matters commercially is not the generic “smart city” language often used in manufacturer texts, but the actual deployment value. This sensor is well suited for continuous climate monitoring, early detection of environmental changes, and reducing manual inspection work. Real buying use cases include storage rooms, plant rooms, building automation projects, workshops, utility spaces, greenhouses, and general condition monitoring in commercial properties.

The LHT65N is especially useful where stable temperature and humidity readings affect operations, stored goods, equipment reliability, or maintenance planning. Typical applications include moisture monitoring in basements and service areas, room climate tracking in offices and commercial buildings, monitoring technical cabinets and equipment rooms, and expanding existing LoRaWAN installations with a compact battery-powered sensor.

The integrated sensor measures both temperature and humidity directly inside the unit. An external sensor interface is also available for installations where the measurement point is separate from the device location or where an additional temperature reading is required. Its datalog function helps preserve readings during temporary network loss, so data can be retrieved later instead of being missed entirely. This is a practical advantage in larger buildings, technical zones, and deployments with inconsistent radio coverage.

With its built-in 2400 mAh non-rechargeable battery, the LHT65N is designed for long service life with minimal maintenance. For system integrators, installers, and technical teams working with EU868 LoRaWAN networks, it is a practical sensor for professional environmental monitoring projects.
