Product Description Technical Details

The Dragino WQS-LB is a LoRaWAN node built for practical, multi-parameter water quality monitoring. It works as a main module that lets you connect one to three water quality probes at a single measurement point, then uplinks the readings over LoRaWAN to your network server or platform—such as Kilo. This setup is ideal when you need multiple water parameters without installing several independent radio devices.

Depending on your use case, the WQS-LB supports common probe types including:

EC (electrical conductivity)

pH

DO (dissolved oxygen)

ORP (redox)

TS (turbidity/solids, depending on probe type)

CL (chlorine, depending on probe type)

It’s a good fit for monitoring tap water, industrial water, aquaculture, aquariums, and wastewater, where consistent, trackable readings help maintain water quality standards. In typical deployments, the node sends values periodically while alerting and analytics are handled on the server side.

For easy rollout, the WQS-LB supports Bluetooth 5.1 (BLE) for local configuration, remote settings changes via LoRaWAN downlink, and wireless OTA firmware updates. It runs LoRaWAN 1.0.3 Class A on EU868 and is optimized for ultra-low power operation.
