Product Description Technical Details

The Dragino DR-DO1 is a precise digital sensor for measuring dissolved oxygen in water, built for monitoring setups where long-term stability and clean system integration matter. It uses fluorescence technology: a blue LED excites a fluorescent layer that emits red light. Dissolved oxygen influences that emission through quenching, and the sensor calculates DO values from the phase difference between the blue and red light signals.

To keep readings reliable across changing conditions, the DR-DO1 automatically compensates for temperature and air pressure—a practical advantage for open-water deployments, tanks, and process loops where conditions vary over time.

With IP68 protection, a seawater-resistant cable, and low power consumption (≤ 0.5 W), it’s suitable for long-term indoor and outdoor installations such as:

water and wastewater monitoring

aquaculture and fish farming

lakes, rivers, reservoirs

industrial water processes and cooling loops

For integration, the sensor supports RS485 with Modbus-RTU and an optional 4–20 mA current loop output, making it easy to connect to both modern IoT nodes and classic control systems. The DR-DO1 is fully compatible with the Dragino WQS-LB and WQS-NB main modules.
