Product Description Technical Details

The Dragino AQS01-L is built for indoor environments where CO2 should be monitored continuously rather than checked only from time to time. It measures carbon dioxide, temperature, relative humidity, and air pressure, then sends the data over LoRaWAN on EU868. That makes it a practical sensor for buildings, production rooms, and climate-sensitive indoor areas where air quality directly affects people, animals, plants, or indoor processes.

A common use case is in offices, meeting rooms, classrooms, waiting areas, and other occupied indoor spaces. In these environments, CO2 is a useful indicator of whether fresh air supply and ventilation are still adequate or whether stale air is building up. For building operators, schools, and employers, that matters when ventilation should respond to actual room conditions rather than guesswork or fixed schedules.

The sensor also makes sense in greenhouses, vertical farming rooms, and mushroom production. In those environments, CO2 directly affects growth conditions and is often one of the core values monitored alongside temperature and humidity. It also fits livestock rooms, animal housing, feed rooms, and rearing areas where CO2 levels can help show whether ventilation is keeping the indoor climate under control.

Other practical use cases include wine cellars, storage rooms, utility areas, gyms, retail spaces, supermarkets, lab support rooms, and similar indoor zones with changing occupancy or limited air exchange. Where there is no full building management system in place, a LoRaWAN sensor offers a straightforward way to add air quality monitoring without extra communication cabling.

The AQS01-L supports CO2 alarms and datalogging. That is useful when threshold breaches should be reported quickly or when readings need to be retained during temporary network interruptions. Power comes from a replaceable 4000 mAh battery, which makes the unit suitable for distributed indoor deployments with low maintenance effort.
