Carbon Monoxide Alarm with 10-Year Battery – Nexelec AIR X845LS

Nexelec AIR X845LS is a CO alarm for detecting carbon monoxide in indoor spaces. Carbon monoxide is colourless, odourless and tasteless, and can be produced by incomplete combustion from gas, oil, wood, coal and other fuels.

The detector uses an electrochemical CO sensor and is factory-calibrated. It measures CO concentrations from 0 to 1,000 ppm with a resolution of 1 ppm. In a dangerous situation, the unit alerts occupants with a loud 85 dB alarm at 3 metres.

The X845LS is installed in apartments, rental homes, student housing, multi-family buildings, technical rooms and properties with individual gas boilers. Landlords, housing operators, facility teams and maintenance providers use it where CO protection, long battery life and wireless status reporting are required.

The CO pre-alarm gives occupants an early warning. Above 40 ppm, a red light flashes every 30 seconds. If the CO level does not drop, the audible alarm is triggered so occupants can ventilate and leave the room.

Mounting is flexible: wall-mounted, ceiling-mounted or free-standing with the supplied FLEX bracket. The set also includes the BASE+ mounting base, FIX adhesive fastener, screws, plugs and a user manual. A large touch-sensitive button on the front is used for testing and silencing. Fault beeps can be delayed for 12 hours when inspection or replacement is required.

The X845LS version supports LoRaWAN. The detector can report technical status such as faults, low battery or removal from its mounting base over a compatible LoRaWAN network. Power is supplied by two sealed and soldered lithium batteries with a 10-year lifetime.
