This outdoor GPS antenna is a straightforward upgrade when you want more reliable GNSS/GPS reception and better antenna placement. It operates at 1575.42 MHz (GPS L1) and provides 27 dBi gain, helping maintain stable positioning data when the main device is indoors, in a cabinet, or inside a protective enclosure.
It connects via an SMA male connector and includes a 1.5 m cable, making it easy to mount the antenna in a location with a clearer view of the sky. Power requirements are 3–5 V DC with low current draw, which suits common active GNSS antenna setups. The antenna is suitable for use with the RAK7243 LPWAN Developer Gateway and other compatible hardware.
