IoT E-ink Display LoRaWAN EU868 – Milesight DS3604

The Milesight DS3604 is an IoT E-ink display built for flexible, paperless information presentation in professional environments. Its 4.2-inch tri-color E-ink screen (black/white/red) offers excellent readability and retains the image without continuous power thanks to bistable display technology—making it ideal for long-term signage with minimal maintenance.

Using LoRaWAN EU868, the DS3604 allows centralized updates across sites and large deployments. With Multicast support, content can be pushed to groups of devices efficiently, which is useful for warehouses, production areas, multi-floor office buildings, or retail chains.

The display supports text, images, and QR codes and is designed for multilingual operation (up to 150 display languages per manufacturer statement; some excluded). A screen button and built-in buzzer enable on-site interaction for simple workflows such as acknowledgements or status changes.

Power is supplied by three replaceable CR2450 batteries. Depending on operating mode and refresh frequency, long battery life is achievable—around 5 years in Class A with one screen refresh per day.

Installation is straightforward via 3M tape or wall screws.
