LoRaWAN sensor hub with pressure and 3-axis motion – RAKwireless RAK2560 (RAK1902 + RAK1904)

The RAK2560 WisNode Sensor Hub is a modular environmental monitoring platform built around a waterproof IP66 enclosure and two sensor probe ports. Your store SKU is populated with a probe that combines RAK1902 (barometric pressure) and RAK1904 (3-axis acceleration), giving you a practical mix of environmental and motion/vibration data from a single LoRaWAN node.

In real deployments, that combination is useful when you want both pressure/weather trend data and movement or vibration detection—for example in building and site monitoring, condition monitoring of equipment (vibration patterns, impact events), tamper/movement alerting on sensitive installations, or distributed monitoring across warehouses, technical rooms, and greenhouses where long-range, low-power connectivity matters.

This unit is the LoRaWAN-only version operating in the 868–930 MHz range (the text also states a high-efficiency LoRa antenna covering 860–930 MHz). It’s based on RAK4630 (MCU nRF52840, radio SX1262) and runs RUI3-based firmware. Setup and configuration are handled via the WisToolBox app (mobile and desktop). The text also lists automatic detection of power source and sensor probes, plus power options using 2–4 ER18505 3.6 V 4000 mAh Li-SOCl2 primary batteries (not included) or 12 V DC / solar panel. NFC (power-on and smart connect over BLE) and a hall-effect anti-theft mechanism on the dedicated mounting bracket are also stated.
