Temperature and Humidity Room Sensor – Nexelec FEEL x580ls

Nexelec FEEL is a 2-in-1 room sensor for measuring temperature and humidity. It can be wall-mounted or placed free-standing, making it practical for indoor spaces where climate conditions need continuous monitoring.

Typical installations include offices, apartment buildings, schools, administrative buildings, shared rooms, technical rooms and other indoor areas with recurring monitoring needs. Building operators, facility teams and system integrators use FEEL to collect room climate data across many rooms without manual readings or wired sensor installation.

Configuration is handled by NFC from a smartphone. Measurement intervals, transmission settings, radio parameters and further device settings can be adjusted, including through the packaging and without the sensor being powered by its battery. For LoRaWAN deployments, FEEL supports frequency regions such as EU868 and US915.

Measurements can be transmitted periodically, on change, or as grouped data. The redundancy function sends measurements multiple times to improve reception by the network gateway. The optimized PCB antenna is built for stable radio transmission while limiting power consumption.

FEEL runs on a replaceable SAFT 2600 mAh lithium battery. An additional battery holder is included to extend available autonomy. Installation can be done with screws, plugs or the supplied 3M® adhesive fastener. The lockable mounting base reduces the risk of unwanted removal, while anti-tear detection triggers a message if the sensor is removed from its base.
