LoRaWAN Core Module RP2040 SX1262 – RAKwireless RAK11310868 MHz

The RAKwireless RAK11310 is a WisBlock Core module powered by the Raspberry Pi RP2040 and paired with the Semtech SX1262 LoRa transceiver to bring LoRa/LoRaWAN connectivity into RP2040-based designs. It’s a practical starting point for product development when you want to validate firmware, radios, and sensor integrations without spinning a custom PCB first.

It runs a LoRaWAN 1.0.2 stack (supporting Class A and Class C) and also supports LoRa point-to-point communication. Development is flexible: you can program it using the Arduino IDE, PlatformIO, or MicroPython. Wi-Fi is not onboard, but can be added via the WisBlock communication module RAK2305 when your design needs it.

Typical deployments include building automation, sensor networks, and remote monitoring nodes where low power and long range matter. With 30 multifunction GPIO and interfaces including UART, I2C, and USB, the module is well suited for connecting sensors, adding custom peripherals, and accelerating integration testing.
