Technical Details
The RAK19018 PoE module powers a WisBlock setup over an Ethernet cable. It uses the Silvertel Ag9905MT DC/DC converter and follows the IEEE 802.3af PoE standard.
The module works only together with the RAK13800 Ethernet module. Before power is delivered, the built-in PoE controller negotiates with the power source. Once approved, up to 9 watts are supplied to the port. The module operates as PoE Class 0.
It supports an input voltage range from 36 V to 57 V and provides a regulated 5 V output. Protection against short circuit and overheating is built in, keeping operation safe.
With its compact size of 32 × 25 mm, the RAK19018 fits easily into WisBlock projects where power over Ethernet is required.
