Product Description Technical Details

The Dragino LT-22222-L is a LoRa I/O controller designed for applications where signals need to be monitored, states need to be tracked, and equipment or processes need to be switched remotely. It is especially useful in retrofit projects and technical installations where existing sensors, buttons, contacts, switches, or actuators must be connected to an IoT system without extensive cabling.

This type of device is not only about reading data. It is also about controlling real equipment in the field. The relay outputs can be used to switch pumps, valves, solenoid valves, warning lights, sirens, fans, contactors, electric door strikes, and other controlled loads. The digital outputs are useful for control signals in automation workflows, while the digital inputs can capture dry contacts, limit switches, alarm contacts, push buttons, and machine status signals.

The analog interfaces also make the LT-22222-L valuable in industrial and building automation projects. With 0 to 20 mA and 0 to 30 V analog inputs, it can interface with level sensors, pressure sensors, transmitters, signal converters, and other analog field devices. This makes it a practical option for bringing legacy sensor infrastructure into LoRa-based monitoring and control systems without rebuilding the entire installation.

Strong real-world use cases include remote control of pumps and valves in water or irrigation systems, switching fans or warning lamps, monitoring cabinet doors or access contacts, collecting alarm and fault signals, supervising technical systems, and building wireless automation logic around existing equipment. It is particularly useful where cable runs are difficult, expensive, or impractical, but reliable control and status feedback are still needed.

The LT-22222-L operates on EU868 and supports LoRaWAN Class A and Class C. That makes it suitable for both standard telemetry and more responsive remote control scenarios. For integrators, automation engineers, and operators of technical systems, it is a flexible way to connect sensors, contacts, and actuators into long-range IoT workflows and add remote control capabilities to existing infrastructure.
