Product Description Technical Details

This compact solar panel is a practical add-on for IoT products when you want longer battery life and fewer manual recharging cycles. With a 80 × 45 × 2 mm footprint, it’s sized to fit Unify Enclosures or custom housings and provides solar input to top up a battery and extend device uptime. For low-power systems built with WisBlock or WisDuo modules, that can translate into more independence from external power supplies during everyday operation and field trials.

Integration is straightforward: the panel ships with a 10 cm cable and a ZHR-2 (1.5 mm) connector that matches the headers on WisBlock Base Boards and RAK5010 WisTrio modules. For outdoor and semi-outdoor deployments, it’s designed to handle common conditions with UV resistance and an IP65 protection rating.

Typical real-world uses:

Extending battery runtime in ultra-low-power sensors with periodic reporting

Small outdoor enclosures where wired power is impractical

Prototyping and field testing for autonomous IoT nodes
