The Dragino WL03A-NB is an NB-IoT rope-type water leak sensor designed for practical, area-wide leak detection. Instead of monitoring just a single point, you route the leak rope/cable exactly where water would show up first—along pipe runs, around boilers and pumps, near HVAC condensate lines, or around critical equipment. The system is extendable, so you can add extra leak ropes to cover larger rooms, full perimeters, or long technical corridors.
When water is present on the detection rope, the WL03A-NB triggers a leak event and uplinks the alarm to your IoT server via the NB-IoT cellular network. It also sends periodic data (commonly every 2 hours) and keeps useful event metrics: it counts leak occurrences and calculates the duration of the last leak event—helpful for troubleshooting and maintenance follow-up.
