The Dragino LCC01-LB is built for IoT deployments where weight values from a load cell need to be transferred wirelessly into a LoRaWAN network. It provides a standard 4-wire interface for load cells and supports scaling from grams to tons, depending on the connected load cell and the mechanical design of the weighing system.
Its practical use is in installations where existing or newly built weighing systems should not be permanently wired back to a control system. Typical deployments include tank and silo weighing, hopper and dosing systems, packaging machines, platform scales, test rigs, crane scales, and remote weighing points in logistics and industrial sites. It also makes sense in retrofit projects where existing load cells need to be integrated into a LoRaWAN infrastructure.
For technical buyers, an important point is that the unit does not form the mechanical weighing element itself. It acts as the interface between the load cell and the IoT platform. The final weighing accuracy and load class therefore depend not only on the converter, but also on the load cell, mounting method, load structure, and system calibration. That is why the LCC01-LB fits integrators, machine builders, and plant operators who want to bring weight data into monitoring, alerting, or inventory workflows.
Bluetooth 5.1 helps with setup on site, OTA updates reduce service work, and the 8500 mAh Li/SOCl2 battery makes the unit practical for measurement points without local power. That is especially useful for distributed weighing points where weight values need to be reported regularly without extra communication cabling.
