Solar Meshtastic Repeater for Outdoor Deployment 868 MHz – RAKwireless WisMesh Repeater Mini

The WisMesh Repeater Mini is a ready-to-use Meshtastic repeater for outdoor deployment in the 868 MHz band. It is used where a mesh network has weak coverage, where direct links become unreliable, or where an extra relay point is needed between nodes. Instead of building an outdoor node from separate housing, power, and radio components, this version provides a finished unit for direct deployment.

Inside is the WisBlock RAK4631 core module with Meshtastic firmware preloaded. Setup is done through the Meshtastic app over Bluetooth Low Energy. That fits installations where a repeater needs to be placed quickly and brought online without additional hardware assembly, such as on buildings, fences, poles, properties, field paths, or other points with weak direct connectivity.

Power is designed for off-grid operation. The device combines a 3200 mAh Li-Ion battery with an integrated solar panel. That makes it suitable for permanent or temporary outdoor locations without fixed power. The IP67-rated enclosure and IP67 connectors protect the hardware in exposed environments and make the repeater a practical option for outdoor relay points.

Swappable mounting brackets are available, including wall and pole mount options. That makes installation easier when the repeater has to be positioned at the right point to close coverage gaps or improve the reach of an existing Meshtastic network.
