Teltonika EYE Beacon – Bluetooth Monitoring Sensor

The Teltonika EYE Beacon is a compact Bluetooth® LE beacon designed to help you locate and manage assets such as goods, tools, and equipment. It’s built for harsh, real-world conditions with an IP67-rated casing and a smart form factor that can be mounted in multiple ways (screws/leash/strap or tape), making it easy to deploy across warehouses, vehicles, job sites, and industrial environments.

A key advantage is battery life. The EYE Beacon is engineered for long-term operation without maintenance—up to 8 years in the default configuration and up to 10 years depending on transmit settings. This makes it a strong choice for large rollouts where you want to avoid frequent servicing.

Important to understand: Bluetooth beacons do not have GPS. The EYE Beacon does not determine its own location on a map. Instead, it broadcasts a Bluetooth signal that must be received by other equipment—most commonly a vehicle GPS tracker or a gateway that supports Bluetooth. In fleet and logistics setups, a Teltonika GPS tracker with Bluetooth (for example, an FMC-series vehicle tracker) can detect nearby EYE Beacons and send the data to your platform, enabling proximity-based asset visibility, indoor RSSI tracking, and event monitoring (such as magnet-based door status detection).
