Smoke Alarm with 10-Year Battery – Nexelec ORIGIN+ X870SL

Nexelec ORIGIN+ X870SL is the non-radio version of the ORIGIN+ smoke alarm. It uses photoelectric smoke detection based on the scattered light principle and alerts occupants with a loud 85 dB alarm at 3 metres.

The X870SL is installed in apartments, rental homes, student housing, multi-family buildings and other indoor spaces where a standalone smoke detector with long service life is needed. The sealed and soldered lithium batteries are specified for 10 years of operation and are not intended for replacement during normal use.

The detection chamber includes electronic dust compensation to reduce false alarms. An integrated insect barrier helps protect the chamber from small insects that could interfere with detection. Air 360° detection supports smoke intake from different directions.

The detector can be mounted on a wall or ceiling. The set includes the BASE+ mounting base, screws, plugs and a user manual. A large touch-sensitive button on the front is used for testing and silencing. The silence function can stop the alarm or place the detector in standby for 3 minutes. Fault beeps can also be delayed temporarily for 8 hours when inspection or replacement is required.
