The WisGate Edge Pro (RAK7289V2/RAK7289CV2) is a high-performance 868 MHz outdoor LoRaWAN gateway built for professional deployments where reliability, long-range coverage, and remote operations matter. With 16 channels and the Semtech SX1303 LoRa core, it’s designed to handle higher device density and heavier uplink traffic—typical in agriculture, smart city infrastructure, industrial sites, and large-area sensor networks.

For harsh environments, it comes in an IP67/NEMA-6 enclosure with cable glands and supports multiple backhaul options: Ethernet, WiFi, and LTE, plus onboard GPS. Antennas are deployment-friendly: internal antennas for LTE/WiFi/GPS, while LoRa uses external antennas. Note from the text: LoRa antennas are not included, and the 16-channel variant requires two LoRa antennas.

On the software side, it runs WisGateOS 2 and supports remote management via WisDM. For LoRaWAN connectivity it supports Basics Station and packet forwarder operation.
