The mPCIe-to-USB adapter board is a practical converter board that lets you run compatible mPCIe LoRaWAN concentrator modules via a standard USB connection. It eliminates the need to design a custom carrier board when you want to evaluate a concentrator quickly or integrate LoRaWAN gateway capability into an existing system.
Common real-world uses include rapid prototyping, lab validation, driver and packet forwarder testing on Linux hosts, and retrofitting existing hardware where a USB port is available and an internal mPCIe slot isn’t the preferred integration path. The text lists compatibility with USB-interface concentrators RAK833, RAK2247, RAK2287, and RAK5146, and also notes compatibility with RAK8213 cellular modules.
