Product Description Technical Details

The Dragino LPS8N 4G is an indoor LoRaWAN gateway designed to bridge LoRa wireless traffic to your IP network using Ethernet, Wi-Fi, or 4G. It’s a practical choice when you want simple indoor coverage but still need flexible uplink options—especially in locations where fixed internet isn’t guaranteed, or where cellular is used as a reliable backup.

It uses an SX1302/SX1303 LoRa concentrator and runs the Semtech packet forwarder, making it LoRaWAN-compatible and easy to integrate into common network-server setups. The concentrator provides 10 programmable parallel demodulation paths, helping the gateway handle concurrent sensor traffic more smoothly in real deployments.

Typical use cases:

Building IoT (metering, HVAC monitoring, leak detection, energy)

Industrial indoor sites with multiple LoRaWAN sensors

Temporary deployments using 4G uplink (pilots, pop-up sites, construction containers)
