The Dragino CPL03-NB is an NB-IoT contact sensor built for dry contact signals—typical relay outputs or switch contacts used across building automation and industrial control. It doesn’t just report a simple state; it also captures how long the contact stays open/closed and how often events occur, which is useful for maintenance reporting, compliance logs, and process visibility.

For time-critical scenarios, the open alarm feature can trigger an alert if a contact remains open longer than a set threshold. The built-in datalogging helps maintain data integrity: if NB-IoT coverage drops, the device stores events and uploads them once the network is available again—handy in basements, plant rooms, and remote sites.

The CPL03-NB supports multiple uplink options (MQTT/MQTTs, TCP, UDP) so it can fit different backend requirements.
