The RAK9168 PoE to 12V splitter is built for installs where you have PoE available but the device you want to power does not support PoE and requires 12V DC. It draws power from any IEEE 802.3af/at PoE switch or injector and outputs 12V / 2.5A via a 5.5 × 2.5 mm barrel jack, while passing through network data at 10/100/1000 Mbps.
With up to 30W available from the DC-DC converter, it fits higher-demand endpoints such as advanced outdoor cameras, high-power Wi-Fi access points, and video conferencing systems. Built-in overcurrent and short-circuit protection helps keep deployments stable, and the -30°C to +75°C operating range makes it practical for both indoor and outdoor use.

IP surveillance: power 12V cameras over PoE without adding a separate power line.
Access control: door controllers and terminals where only PoE is available.
