RAKwireless RAK12016 is a WisBlock flex/bend sensing module when you want mechanical deflection to become a digital signal inside an embedded or IoT system. The sensing element, Spectrasymbol FS-L-0095-103-ST, is a flexible strip whose resistance changes as it bends, making it suitable for capturing bend angle, deflection, or motion on curved or moving parts.

A key practical advantage is that the module includes an ADC converter, so the bend signal can be read digitally over I2C. That simplifies integration for WisBlock and other microcontroller projects: you avoid analog input constraints, external ADC hardware, and much of the analog wiring complexity.

With a stated bending range of 1 to 180 degrees and 1-degree accuracy, the module is commonly used in:
