4K PoE dome security camera with microphone and IK08 protection – HiLook IPC-D180HA-LU 2.8 mm

The HiLook IPC-D180HA-LU in the 2.8 mm version is a fixed 4K dome network camera for mounting points where the camera remains within reach and needs more physical protection than a standard outdoor housing. It fits entrance areas, stairwells, side access routes, corridor sections, gate zones, and soffit or ceiling positions in commercial and residential buildings.

Its 2.8 mm lens is the wide-angle version of this model. That makes it useful for covering the area directly in front of doors, small yard sections, approach paths, or broader entry zones with one camera. The 8 MP resolution gives more usable detail in recorded footage when reviewing movement, access events, or vehicle activity around the building.

For low-light scenes, the camera combines infrared and white light. In Smart Hybrid Light mode, white light can switch on when motion is detected, allowing color night video instead of basic black-and-white recording. That is a practical choice where recorded scene detail matters, not just event notification.

Motion detection supports human and vehicle filtering. The built-in microphone adds live audio capture for entrances, reception-side access points, and protected outdoor areas. Integration into existing video systems is handled through ONVIF, ISAPI, and SDK support. Network and power can be supplied over a single cable using PoE.

The housing is rated IP67 for dust and water resistance and IK08 for vandal resistance. According to the manufacturer, this model does not include any special anti-corrosion protection, so it is intended for normal outdoor and indoor environments rather than coastal or chemically aggressive sites.
